Our service is principally engaged in the solution development for Automated Passenger and Vehicle Clearance systems, Biometrics access control, License plate recognition systems, Automatic container code recognition systems, Self service Kiosks, Intelligent security systems and its associated electrical, electronics and mechanical engineering accessories.

THE AUTOMATED PASSENGER CLEARANCE SYSTEM (APCS)

The passenger immigration counters for Hong Kong Identity Card Holders have been replaced by Automated Passenger Gates (i.e. the Auto-gates). The clearance process starts by the insertion of the person’s smart identity card into a reader followed by placing a finger on a scanner (and / or using a facial recognition system). If there is a match, the auto-gate doors will open, allowing the person to go through. Incorporated in the system are additional features such as liveliness of fingerprint and prevention of tailgating to ensure highest level of security. The system can be adapted to read passport, e-passport and other types of identification document. Verification of the identity could be executed with finger print scanner, facial and/or iris recognition system.

THE AUTOMATED VEHICLE CLEARANCE SYSTEM (AVCS)

Similar clearance procedures are implemented for vehicles. The Smart ID Card readers and fingerprint scanners are installed on movable consoles. A height sensing system will deliver the consoles to the window side of the driver and passengers. They can perform the clearance procedures from their seats. To the truck drivers, a system using license plate recognition technology will search the driver’s data when the truck is waiting at the queue. This eliminates the action of card insertion that eventually improves the clearance time. Finger printing scanning and / or facial recognition system will be used to validate the driver’s identity. If there is a change in the registered driver of a truck an automatic voice recognition system receives instructions from the driver and changes the data accordingly. To facilitate convenience in customs clearance, it is planned that passengers can use a number of portable consoles docked at the clearance kiosk when they are driving. Each portable console is a wireless device that comes with a card reader and a fingerprint scanner. The device communicates with the main data system via Bluetooth. The passengers can therefore perform clearance at ease.
